No tricks with technology or engineering were used to modify or manufacture our sound in these videos, as we believe in providing true sound at the highest quality while remaining genuine to our music and ultimately, our audiences. We never use backing tracks either, as we are truly 100% authentic. We promise to deliver a vigorous and energetic performance, especially when performing our countless high-octane songs like Van Halen’s Jump, Queen’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Elton’s Crocodile Rock, and Tears for Fear’s Everybody Wants to Rule the World…. to name a few.

About Us!
Formed in the summer of 2025, Off The Record features several talented members from The All Stars Band, well-known for hosting the popular Wednesday Night Jam at Blues on Whyte in Edmonton. You can catch most of the band live every Wednesday from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, and throughout the summer, they frequently perform on Blues on Whyte’s legendary patio.
While their setlist focuses primarily on classic hits from the 1970s and 1980s, Off The Record’s versatile repertoire spans music from the 1950s to today—and they’re always happy to take audience requests. Rarely will you find a band that will attempt to do a request from the audience that they have never practiced or performed before. Off The Record will attempt to perform nearly any song at any time.
Collectively, the four musicians bring over 160 years of combined performance experience, having each been part of Edmonton’s vibrant music scene since the early ’80s. Notably, their drummer is the Percussion educator at Red Deer College and has performed with Canadian legends such as Tommy Banks. The band’s keyboardist is a former Edmonton Public School Board band teacher and one-man-band (www.thispiano.com). Our Lead guitarist is a former music-store owner and our bassist coordinates massive events around Western Canada. All four members are lead vocalists, giving their performances exceptional harmonies and dynamic stage presence.
With a focus on audience engagement, high-energy entertainment, and musicianship, Off The Record delivers unforgettable live shows. Since their inception, they’ve already performed several successful gigs—proving that their passion for live music is as strong as their experience.
